’ this evening to be immersed in the sensual sound-world of violoncello
and grand piano. Step into the elysian glades of Debussy’s D minor gem o

l landscape interspersing twinkling brooks with open pastures for quiet re
flection. The behemoth of Brahms F major sonata encompasses an heroic open
ing\, an affectionate slow movement\, a tonic minor allegro appassionato f
ull of bravura\, and concludes with another nod to the bucolic\, a gracefu
l rondo.  In contrast\, you will also hear the concentrated beauty of Bac
h's 2nd Suite for Solo Cello in his devotional key of D minor.\n\n\n\n\n\n
